Before the clock tick for lunch time, we left the office for another coverage. It's a rescue training for some of our colleagues in the news department.After an hour we arrived in the venue,15th infantry division of the army, in particular its the rescue unit. I was so excited what it would look like in the training.

This initiative was made by our Mr. public service Kuya Daniel Razon, a known broadcaster and journalist in the Philippines. The project aimmed to create a news teams that are not only capable of delivering news but also ready to help other people in times of tragedy.

Watch Dancing Inmates in Cebu - Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center
About 1500 inmates in CPDRC made a dance performance in the detention center. Behind bars they made popular because of their dance performances and now one of the Philippine’s pride. Their videos online also got a lot of viewers and a unique move from Cebu provincial government also.
On e of their hit was the Thriller of Michael Jackson and now the latest is the This Is It. The video was uploaded January 25,2010. The inmates danced together with Michael Jackson’s choreographer and some dancers named Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid.

The Marcelo Fernan Bridge is one of the infrastructures in Cebu that serves as proof of the progress in the province. This bridge is an extra dozed cable stayed bridge was formally opened in August 1999. With its length of about 1237 meters with 4058.40 feet and has a center span of 185 meters.
The bridge is connecting the island of Mactan in Lapu-Lapu City and Mandaue City part of Cebu island that spans transversely in the Mactan Channel. This bridge’s purpose is to lessen the heavy traffic that flows in the first bridge built in the province.
Japanese government facilitated this project, and now tagged as one of the widest and longest in length in the whole Philippines. These also stands as one of the beautiful places to visit because there is a park located underneath the bridge.

Choices And Voices For 2010!
Who's your bet for the 2010 polls? A forum with the candidates for president in the Philippines for 2010 was made, headed by the three major business groups in Cebu, the Cebu chamber of commerce, the Mandaue chamber of commerce and the cebu business club wish is sponsored by the Aboitiz company. The forum was held at the Cebu International Convention Center in Mandaue City.

Presidential candidates present were, Sen. Noynoy Aquino, former president Joseph Estrada, Sen. Manny Villar, Richard Gordon, Eddie Villanueva and Gilberto Teodoro.

Supporters from the different candidates showed in the occasion.This forum intends to hear what a presidential candidate will do if they assumes the seat in the Malacanan Palace.

The death of press secretary Cerge Remonde, caused by a heart attack. Interment is five days after in argao roman catholic cemetery. The interim was attended by pres Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, vice president Noli de Castro, some cabinet members, local politicians, media personalities and local media in cebu. Thousands of argaoanons also participated in the interim of Cerge Remonde.

The Sinulog festival in Cebu, the grand parade was great, even if its a rainy day the big number of crowd was there. The colorful costumes of contingents was very nice to see as well as their dance performance. ON its 3oth year of celebration Cebu province made it again to show that Cebuanos are creative and talented.

Cebu is now the number one in the Philippines to have visited with most number of tourist the whole year round according to statistics and researches. This is because of the best tourist destination situated in the whole province. A god giving gift that the province now has its beauty. The natural beauty of Cebu, a rich province with narrow stretching coastline has white sand beaches that attracts the tourists.
